This app is really packed full of great suggestions for so many typical parenting struggles. For example, you can find advice on tantrums, biting, sibling arguments, refusing to brush teeth, not following rules, shopping struggles, and much more! In line with the positive parenting philosophy, the Best of Parenting app is a good tool to have on your phone at just 99 cents on Android. 

5. Positive Parenting Practices I

Developed by Tom McIntyre (Dr. Mac) of is a Professor of Special Education and Coordinator of the Graduate Program of Behavior Disorders at Hunter College of the City University in New York. What a title! Dr. Mac brings a practical, positive, and respectful approach to correcting behavior. There are lectures to listen to replacing punishment, the ABCs of behavior, Beyond the ABCs, and Using Time Out Effectively. There is a chapter test to take at the end of each lecture to make sure you understand the information. This app is 99 cents on Itunes.
