Fold and Cut

Fold a 4x5 piece of paper in half. 

Trace a half of a heart onto the folded paper. In the center of the trace, make dash lines, as this is where you won’t cut. 

Cut only on the pencil lines, leaving the center of the half of a heart. See image.
