50 Fun Snow Day Activities

by Rebecca Eanes

I feel like we skipped autumn completely in my neck of the woods. Last week it was 84 degrees, today it’s 44 and we are expecting snow flurries in a few days. All too soon, the white stuff will cover our lawns. There’s nothing quite so satisfying to a child’s heart as waking up to see the snow flying and hearing that school has been canceled! However, kids do get restless after a few hours of boredom so here are 50 fun ideas to keep them entertained.

Cozy Up with a Book

Grab a warm mug of apple cider and a soft blanket, snuggle on the couch and read a book about snow!

I’ve gathered 10 and listed them here.

  1. Fancy Nancy – There’s No Day Like a Snow Day
  2. Snow Day
  3. The Snowy Day
  4. The Night Before the Snow Day
  5. Super Snow Day Seek and Find
  6. Splat the Cat and the Snow Day Surprise
  7. Willow and the Snow Day Dance
