Dad Covers the Beatles with his Toddler Son

And it’s absolutely adorable

Everyone loves a good family jam session. It showcases two of the most wonderful bonds we humans can form—the connection between parents and their children, and the unique connection that unites musicians when they play and sing in harmony.

In this video, posted by youtube user, Christian Diego Mello, father and son play an excerpt from the Beatles’ soulful “Don’t Let Me Down.” Dad plays a guitar while son, Diego, jams out on what looks like a ukulele. Taking cues from his dad, the young musician watches intently, trying to keep his music and lyrics in sync with his papa.

Though the video was posted in May of 2013, it’s just as timeless as the Beatles song itself. Watch the video below.
