HayStack Cookie Easter Egg Nests

These little egg nests are a festive, delicious classic that are extremely simple to make. This kid-friendly recipe makes a yummy Easter snack, after dinner dessert or holiday party treat! They take a max of 10 minutes to make and about an hour to set.

Ingredients:

5 oz. Chow Mein Noodles

12 oz. Milk Chocolate Chips

Muffin Tin

Candy Eggs/Jelly Beans/ M&M’s/Peeps

Directions:

  1. Spray the muffin tins with cooking spray.

Tip: If you don't have muffin tins you can use parchment paper.

  1. Melt milk chocolate in a separate bowl in the microwave.Heat in 1 minutes 30 second intervals and stir until all chips are melted.
  2. Dump in your chow mein noodles into the chocolate, and stir lightly until all the noodles are coated.
  3. Place 2 spoonfuls of chocolate covered noodles into each muffin tin and press down or manoeuvre the noodles to create a dip in the center where the eggs or peeps will go.
  4. Place 2-3 Easter candies of your choice in the center of the haystack cookie and place the muffin tins in the refrigerator. Let sit until the chocolate hardens.
