Little Girls’ Rendition of Whitney Huston’s “I Will Always Love You” is Proof that Music Transcends Language

Julia Maritza Ceja, a musical prodigy from a small town in Mexico, is becoming an international sensation thanks to a viral video of Ceja, who also happens to be blind, singing Whitney Huston’s “I Will Always Love You.”

Singing well is not easy, despite our favorite performers’ abilities to make it look effortless. Singing a song in a language that you don’t even speak is even tougher. That’s partly why Ceja’s performance has impressed pretty much everyone who’s watched it. She primarily sings in Spanish, her native language, but she doesn’t know English aside from what she learns through pop music.

With over 100,000 Facebook followers and a slew of live performances under her belt, Ceja is a rising star in Mexico. Watch the video below, to find out for yourself why it’s going viral.
