Directions:

Reindeer

  1. Cut out one large triangle in brown paper. Glue the popsicle to one side of the triangle.
  2. Glue on your red pom pom to the bottom of the triangle. Then glue on the googly eyes towards the center.
  3. Cut the brown pipe cleaner in half to make antlers. On one half, cut it in half again. Twist the halves onto the uncut half to make V’s. Repeat the process, and glue them at the bottom of the triangle on the same side as the popsicle stick.
  4. Cut out ears or ovals for the reindeer's ears. Once cut out, glue them on the sides of the triangle. Then your done!

Santa

  1. Cut a paper plate in half. Then cut out a red triangle.
  2. Glue a popsicle stick on the back of the red triangle. Glue one of the halves of the paper plate to the other side of the triangle, more towards the center. The straight line of the plate should be upwards on the top of the triangle. The wavy part of the paper plate should be where santa's beard would be. Color santa's face with a half circle on the paper plate towards the top of the paper plate.
  3. Out of what’s left of the paper plate scraps, cut out 2 half circles and a long thin rectangle.
  4. Glue the rectangle to the top of the paper plate in the center, this will be part of santa's hat. Then glue the googly eyes underneath it. Under the eyes, glue the half circles to form a mustache, and glue the red pom pom on the middle of the mustache to form the nose.
  5. Lastly, glue on the white pom pom to finish off santa's hat.

Snowman

  1. Glue the 2 paper plates together to form Mr. Snowman’s body. Overlap about 2 inches of the plates. Glue the popsicle stick to the back of Mr. Snowman's body.
  2. Make a top hat out of black construction paper and a carrot nose out of orange paper.
  3. Glue on the googly eyes, top hat, and nose to the top plate. Draw on the charcoal buttons to make Mr. Snowman's smile.
  4. Lastly glue on his pom poms for the buttons.

These crafted characters can be used as masks, decorations, puppets and more. Let your kids use their imaginations this season and enjoy watching these masks come to life!
